Ok so the art is not quite accurate (ie my nose is not that tiny), but I asked him if this was a correct transcription or if I had maybe just misheard something. He said, “You still don’t fully understand Australian slang, do you?”

No, I guess I don’t.

    Is “easily fixed” the Australian slang? That’s odd

    • I… don’t really know. I think so, but I had trouble getting an understandable explanation.

  2. Funny how flexible the definition of ‘English’ is, isn’t it?
    From personal experience, whole swathes of linguistic growth in (for instance) Lancashire would be totally inadmissible and incomprehensible in Staffordshire, two English counties less than a hundred miles apart.

    • Oooo interesting! I haven’t heard of either of those places (I think). Can you give examples of these whacked out Englishes?
